Kids Classes

Teens Karate
Karate helps to develop physical fitness, lean muscle and in so doing a teen's positive self-image. It also helps to develop a healthy lifestyle and teaches the value of goal setting and the pursuit thereof.
Adults Karate
Adults tend to have less mobility in their joints as they age. Karate helps to develop flexibility around the joints in combination with strengthening the muscles to provide better mobility.
Family Karate

About Us
Kyoshi Karl is a 7th Dan in Karate and 5th Dan in Kobudo in the Okinawan Style of Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Karate.
The S&K Karate club was kicked off in 1999 by Kyoshi Karl and his life long friend who have trained together since the ages of 4 and 5 under the instruction of Kyoshi Claude Johnson, 8th Dan and president of Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan Karate.
Nearly 4 decades later Kyoshi Karl has taught 1000’s of students across South Africa, in multiple dojo’s including his own in Port Elizabeth. He has competed across the globe at the highest levels as well as trained students to reach world championship status.
